Indian stock surprise

One day it is going down like house on fire…next day it is coming back from ashes like a phoenix, that is the story of SENSEX, the indian stock exchange, nowadays. Well, they say it is all because of US recession. But, some of them, say India is insulated from WEST, that it have a strong economy and strong fundamentals, unlike WEST where situation is getting grimmer albeit FED CUTs. In any case FED CUT really gave all the markets a fresh bottle of oxygen that today most of the Asian markets were in GREEN. Story of SENSEX – it witnessed higgest intraday score in its history.

Communist guys in the country are very annoyed to see Stocks swinging the way it is nowadays. They all want a transaction tax on every pince of money coming and going from market everyday. Another thing everyone is looking for is whether the RBI, indian regulator of economy, will go for a simlar RATE CUT like FED RESERVE.

Whenever markets plummets the way it went down yesterday, it is normally the lower end retailers who are hurt most. Well, these retailers have themselves to blame for it. Instead of going by market fundamentals they go by value trading, resulting in huge loss everytime there is a huge correction in the market. When are investors gonna learn that no GREEDY is going to gain from stocks in a longer run !

last smile ?

The last war of the battle is starting tommarrow in Adelaide. Indians are thirsty for more blood, while Australians are licking their lips too. Ponting’s and Kumble’s men will lock  horns in the ultimate match which the cricket world is so keenly watching. Ponting said he has nothing to lose and all the pressure is on Kumble and his mates. Well, Kumble on the other hand will find it difficult. Its true that pressure is on him as it is the last match and Indians are trailing the series 1-2. Also, another thing bugging Indian captain will be that 3 out of the famous FAB-4 is dropped from the upcoming Tri-nation ODI tournament. Kumble went on air criticising the selectors for selecting the ODI team so early. His take is that such an act will affect the confidence and concentration of his players from the all important 4th test match. Kumble, like Ponting, is also facing the problem with team selection. Adelaide track is well known for its liking to flirt with batsmen, so both captains will be trying to load their team with variety bowlers who are bring more flavor than going with pacers as they did in perth. If both teams’ batsmen come to party in Adelaide, the result will be a not-so-surprising draw.
